Anyone who knows me knows that I love makeup.
Starting my career at INGLOT Malta 14 years ago, I’ve experienced working from a hairstylist to a nail technician and makeup artist…. What else can prove that I’m a beauty lover?
I was only 18 years old when I started working for the company. When I started, I didn’t even know how to hold a make-up brush! I started my career as a junior hairstylist, but thanks to my managers and superiors at that time, I managed to succeed and get the title of Hairstylist, Nail Technician and also Makeup artist. I now hold the position of Retail Manager & Brand Guardian.
Just because I love makeup doesn't mean I have to wear it. I am absolutely comfortable walking around with no makeup, but it just wouldn't be as fun, I truly enjoy creating different looks. Makeup also makes me feel more put together and ready for the day. I tend to feel more alert and ready to take on anything. I'm sure many feel the same way too!
It's an absolute treat to share with you my top 5 INGLOT products that are a must-have in my make-up bag!
1. YSM Foundation:
It’s a fact that your foundation can make or break your make-up look.
Opting for the right formulation for your skin type and desired effect is vital to achieving a smooth, natural-looking, flawless finish. I love this foundation as it works perfectly with my combination skin. It is also great for breakouts and dryness, anyone who struggles with this should try this gem. This foundation provides a medium, buildable coverage, it's long-lasting, very lightweight, gives me a very natural matt finish without looking dry and it is also easy to apply due to its silky consistency.

How I Apply:
I prefer to apply this foundation with the INGLOT 55S brush as it helps me to blend the foundation evenly. A little goes a long way and is very buildable without flaking, in fact, I use it for everyday use and also on special occasions where I love to add the AMC Face and Body highlighter for that special glow. This foundation is ideal to use on its own or to combine with a moisturiser and/or highlighter.

2. AMC Cream Concealer:
The AMC Cream Concealer is my favourite so far. It is different to everything I’ve ever tried before. Its consistency is creamy so it is able to visually even out minor wrinkles. It looks almost oily but doesn't feel heavy, cakey or oily once applied. I tend to have sensitive eyes and this concealer works perfectly for me, as it does not irritate my skin and eye area. Why I love it? It does not dry out my skin, looks natural, non-cakey and its consistency helps to blend it quickly. I also find it great to cover my dark circles and did I mention... it lasts all day?!
How I Apply:
This concealer comes in a pot and as mentioned before it's quite creamy, so I use my 22T INGLOT brush to apply this product and then dab it into my skin with my fingers. The creasing is there like in every other concealer ever but can be fixed with a little loose powder. I love to wear it on its own when I don't want to do a full face but still want to cover my under-eye bags and dark circles.
The AMC Cream concealer comes in different shades and it is enriched with vitamins E and A.

3. AMC Eyeliner 101:
I’m so in love with this classic dark black eyeliner. It is smooth and bendable yet firm enough to provide a sharp clean line for precise application. It does not smudge, it’s intense and very long-lasting.
How I Apply:
I love using this one in particular as I can create both a natural and bold effect. For everyday use, I prefer more of a natural look, so I apply a very thin line on my eyelid and then smudge/blend it with the INGLOT 11S brush. When I want a bolder look, I just make sure the eyeliner is sharpened and create a winged liner effect.
The pencil itself makes it easy for me to apply as it's very pigmented. I also used this on my waterline and you’d be impressed how long it lasts!

4. HD Lip Tint Matte:
This product is surely a must-have! You’ll always find one in my handbag or in my car.
INGLOT HD lip tints ensure a long-lasting effect, do not smudge and are transfer-resistant. The handy little sponge makes the lip tints very easy to apply and creates a flawlessly defined pout. Although the finish is super matte, the formula does not feel dry at all. They come in various colours, ranging from subtle nudes to classic reds and darker statement shades to complement any skin tone.
Number #26 is a nude pink but it complements my tanned skin perfectly and the #12 is that classic red which is a MUST have!
What I love most about this Lip Tint it’s transfer-resistant, so I don't need to touch up after eating or drinking and it also does not transfer when I'm wearing a mask. Isn’t that great?!
All INGLOT’s HD products contain HD pigments. This means they are ideal for everyday use but also the perfect products to use for filming in high definition, during photoshoots etc, giving you flawless makeup looks even on a big screen!

5. Soft Sparkler Face, Eyes & Body Highlighter:
I always make sure that my highlighter is on point, that is why I love using the Soft Sparkler Face, Eyes and Body Highlighter.
The first great advantage of having this highlighter is because it has multiple uses and I can apply it to my face, eyes and body. It comes in a subtle combination of colours each with diverse shimmering particles that help bring out the inner glow of your skin.
How I Apply:
My favourite colour is the #52, it has a bronzy highlight effect and blends in naturally with my skin. I mostly love to apply my highlighter on my cheekbone, cupids bow and the bridge of my nose using the INGLOT 38s Brush.
